Our July Fundraiser for the Irish Hospice Foundation raised €2,500!. Pictured here are Lauren with Mairead Tully, Fundraising Executive for the IHF.
Once again we teamed up with the local IKA Branch, hosting a fundraiser in aid of Irish Kidney Association. This bundle raised a further €2,450 for the IKA. Pictured here with Ray Halligan, Chairperson of the Waterford IKA Branch, and Vera Frisby, Branch Treasurer.
“The Irish Kidney Association was founded in 1978 by a group of dialysis patients so that patients in renal failure could have a representative organization to help dialysis and transplants patients. Our main fundraising event, Organ Donor Awareness week, takes place in late March each year. It gives us an opportunity to express the need for organ donors as each year over 600 patients are waiting for organ transplant in Ireland. This year Covid severely curtailed our fundraising capability. Blaa Giveaways kindly donated 2,650 euro to our cause locally. These funds were badly needed, many thanks to all at Blaa Giveaways”
– Ray Halligan, Chairperson IKA Branch.
Our December Fundraiser for the WLR FM Christmas Appeal raised €2,500 for the St. Vincent de Paul. Pictured here Ollie Carroll of WLR FM with Jenna and Paul of Blaa Giveaways.
“This was Blaa Giveaways third year helping the WLR FM Christmas Appeal in aid of St. Vincent de Paul. The fundraiser was a huge success and raised a further €2,500 for the SVP. Each year the Blaa Team are always on hand to contribute and are a pleasure to work with. We are extremely grateful for their continued support and would like to extend our thanks also to the entire Blaa Community!”

Our May Fundraiser for the The Helping Hand raised over €2,000! Pictured here Jenna & Paul of Blaa Giveaways with Eamonn Morrissey, Vice Chairperson.
“Helping Hand look after the homeless and vulnerable . We provide tents, sleeping bags, ground sheets, a hot meal etc but most importantly a safe warm place for people to go who will be treated with dignity and respect. We have over 40 volunteers who dedicate their time to truly making a difference. We recently got our own premises and it had taken quite a lot of our funding to make it into a lovely space for our service users. When Paul and Jenna contacted us, we were delighted. We were already thinking ahead to the winter and the life saving supplies we would need. The recent fundraiser will help enormously with this. Thanks to everyone at Blaa giveaways for raising 2050 euro for us. We really appreciate it.”

“A huge thank you to Paul and Jenna and all the Blaa Giveaway Crew for holding this draw for the RNLI. As this essential life saving service is funded entirely by voluntary donations the sum raised and given to the Tramore and Waterford fundraising branch is hugely appreciated and makes a difference. Thanks to all who bought tickets also.”
